hmmmmm i bought me a bag of citric acid and i have some dry mango laying around….got me thinking some thoughts over here….

@WORLDONFIRE Yessss! according to the ingredient list, the coating contains "Sugar, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Lemon Juice, Modified Food Starch". I feel like you could omit the malic acid and just go with citric no problem, and the starch is probably not super necessary either being last. The question is what ratio of sugar to citric acid but I bet that's available online. Then the very last ingredient is coconut oil and I bet that's to barely coat the mangos so the coating sticks
