pretty sure i’m the only person from my town on this app. interesting feeling… i love her & i hate her & i couldn’t live without her & i need to leave her & i feel so deeply connected to every layer of this city and every human story that has ever happened here despite it being such an insignificant place in the grand scheme of things

i was born here but haven’t lived here since i was a few months, before moving back for university. i’ve always wanted to live in an urban area with a lot of young, college aged people, and this is the perfect place for that. there are always festivals, thrift pop ups, art gallery openings, historical buildings and events to go to which i love. i enjoy meeting strange people who are part of various scenes, going to the goth club and spending time with my interesting friends. the public transportation is also great, since i don’t have a car and don’t plan on getting one either.
there is however a very large homeless issue that has been going on for years, and a housing crisis, and even my favourite cheap sandwich place has had to jack up their prices, but what can you do.
i plan on staying here for university and possibly moving away for post-grad, but this place will hold a very special place in my heart forever

📻you can listen to thousands of radio stations all over the world!!! the main screen looks like google earth with green dots where stations are located and you can move around and listen/save them. there are also some unusual ones like audio noir which plays 1940s radio dramas, payphone radio where you can listen to random people's payphone messages, i found a few that play 24/7 eastern european orthodox chants etc
most of all i love going to more remote/obscure places like mauritius, kamchatka, congo, faroe islands etc and discovering their charts lol
