I usually search for very specific things. I wanted just the classic doc Martin black sandals. I found some for half the price, hardly worn, but they are platform and I didn’t realize it lol so that’s been an adjustment

These cunty little square toed boots

Emphasis on little I bought them delusionally thinking my feet were much smaller than they are and they literally do not fit but I wear them sometimes anyway like Cinderella’s ugly stepsisters. just can’t let them go every time I put them on the roominess of the toe box makes me think everything will be all right and it never is…

DOC MARTENS

Ive had these for about 10 years and only retired them last year bc the sole and the leather both completely cracked. Have climbed mountains in these, wore them practically everyday (even in summer) and will still wear them on nights out (the spilled beer on the floor keeps me from slipping) (last picture is from 2017, yes I did not take good care of them, but they still lasted me ages)
