retook a class w an old prof for a non credit last year and one day he had us choose partners to paint each other from life. i partnered with another non-credit gal who i remembered from taking the class years ago. she was (still is tbh) insanely talented.
literally almost cried bc it was so cool to see myself through someones eyes like that. she was sweet enough to let me keep it <3
Honestly there’s no better place to find inspiration than those we keep around us. This is a wip but i recently went out with a long time friend from hs and we both had so much fun and she just inspired me to make like physical art again!! Like i haven’t made anything in 3 years but after reconnecting with her i found that her energy and confidence in herself has me so inspired that i had to make this about her!

I feel so lucky to have been chosen and be shown with some really strong artists in my class.
two women next to me on the train are having an insightful heart to heart. a guy behind me is clearly flirting with this girl and you can tell it’s mutual. we all have rich, rich inner lives :)
