He was so amazing in "We Were Liars" and I was so excited to see him in Sunrise on the Reaping next year that I've binged "Invisible Boys" in a single afternoon today. Might I say that was such an incredible, touching show? That boy can act, omg.
(he's also really pretty).

I just watched the show Jury Duty - which was amazing. I loved it. But what I really took away is that I really like James Marsden’s vibe. Then a few days later the movie 27 Dresses was playing on TV and I realized that young James Marsden is also a vibe. So now I’m just into his vibe idk why exactly but he seems like a fun guy (but also prob cuz he’s hot).

Been seeing that White Lotus --- a show that I have never had much interest in --- scene and it is reminding that Sam Rockwell is a cold ass actor. I'm happy that he is floating on the timeline again because he is a very good actor. Here is a guy who can turn a character into something insanely memorable by pure charisma and weird charm. Now, he won the Oscar for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri and while that movie is sometimes frustrating, I do think it is a good portrayal of anger at social class that is manifesting itself --- or possibly just because of it --- towards hatred of identity groups. Rockwell is very good in it, getting the better of the showy McDormand performance. But, to me, I hated that he won the Oscar portraying such a dodo bird. He had played such cool and interesting characters -- he even becomes a weirdo as Hammer in Iron Man 2 --- and he understood how to be sly and dopey while still maintain a kind of honest mentality that made people want to root for him in every movie. He's better when he isn't pudgy, isn't striving; in a way, he is a comedic actor at best.
Watch Moon, where he plays a lonely astronaut in space. He is also great in Richard Jewell as a sympathetic lawyer. Character actors like Rockwell deserve publicity, especially when they're doing something unheralded.

Feel!!! Show people that feeling, tell them how much you enjoyed spending time with them, tell them their hair looks nice, laugh out loud, cry in public and stop caring about this nonchalant bullshit. Numb is not in!!! There will be a time where you can't feel but that time will also pass.

Okay, quick disclaimer: I know most art is political (firm believer here!), but I'm talking enjoyment-first right now. That said, I absolutely encourage consuming things with different viewpoints from yours! If I'm watching a political documentary I hate, I'll probably keep going because the goal is education, not instant enjoyment. But a show I just find... bad? Why waste precious time forcing myself through something purely unenjoyable when the whole point is to relax or be entertained? Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those people who drops a show after hating the pilot – it needs an opportunity to prove itself for a few episodes! Luckily, I just tend to really enjoy what I'm watching once I get past that haha.

Literally one of my favorite activities. I love ranking movies, rock genres, hangout spots, chocolate, flirting one-liners... all of it. It’s obsessive and weirdly satisfying. Like it so much that TierMaker isn’t enough, I handwrite tier lists in my diary like a medieval scribe with opinions. I present to you guys my official chocolate tier list, crafted yesterday while suffering through truly awful free chocolate.
