I could be completely wrong, but I scored this interesting top for $5 at an flea market. Apparently it's from a restaurant owned by the manager of the band Chicago. The colors and design make is overall pretty neat. And I can see the place was pretty well loved, so that also makes it pretty cool. I like it a lot :D

AMERICAN ROCK

I have far too many but out of my collection this is probably my favorite. This is a Weezer shirt from around 2001 or 2002, not sure the specific year. I’m a huge weezer fan and this shirt was my holy grail. I was super lucky to find it in my size and under $100 a few years ago (googled this shirt and saw it as expensive as $225 😵‍💫) As a merch designer who has designed quite a few things for weezer at this point I’d love to 1) make a shirt this iconic and/or 2) somehow recreate or reference it if I work with them again. I think the dorky pun and the lettering just perfectly say what weezer’s all about

THIS SHIRT MY LAB COWORKER WORE ONE TIME

In honor of hot dog week, throwback to the time I walked into my research lab early on a Saturday and it was just me and this one quiet smart dude but instead of his usual blues and greys he was wearing this shirt. It was hilarious in context.
