I will forever remember the summer of 2016 as smelling like LUSH "Karma" solid perfume, nested in the folds of my wrists and neck. Patchouli & orange kisses from a temporary lover.
The summer of 2017 was coloured by LUSH "Sun", and my fingernails digging in the citrus.
Last year's vape was Juicy Bar "Colombian coffee ice, and this time I've settled on STLTH "Smooth Tobacco".
Define each summer with a specific stimulation of the senses.

As the only true third spaces left in a world where you can hardly leave your house without having to spend money, supporting and utilizing these public services has become more necessary than ever. People don't realize just how many free services are offered by their local branches. From workshops, to free access to online classes and audiobooks, museum passes, movie nights, private study rooms, equipment available to borrow, community building โ it's so much more than just borrowing books (which is also cool, btw).
Also a great alternative to loitering at a coffee shop.

I fell in love with audiobooks in 2023. They make time fly on my long subway commutes, and help me nourish my brain during mindless tasks.
I used to hit my monthly Spotify limit and have to wait a whole month to finish my book. It was equally frustrating to realize halfway through a book that I actually hated it and had no desire to finish it. Discovering Libby has been a game changer, in a low-commitment & high-reward type of way.
