I have played a bunch of yugioh online and tonight I was finally able to hang out and play some cards with friends irl. We played Magic which is different but I picked it up quickly enough with the background I have. Instead of playing bad online games together, we played a questionably balanced card game in person that doubled as a hangout ! So much more fun to argue about rule arbitrations than to get mad at cs2 or roblox or whatever. These games involve a ton of reading and are really for the types who don’t mind spending 45 minutes or so on a game.. if that’s you, they can make a super fun group hobby !!
