⭐i went to an all-girls boarding school in western Massachusetts. almost got expelled, DID get suspended for some dumb, regular teenage shit that the faculty reacted to like i was an actual felon instead of a 15 yr old, formerly homeschooled goody-two-shoes. anyway, it recently came out that one of the history teachers that has been there for 30 years was grooming and SA'ing girls and the faculty had been covering it up. luckily i was never involved with him, never had a class with him, but its still weird knowing that he was a dorm parent and would do week-end nightly check-ins in the dorms, he lived at school with us practically, had a house directly next to campus, etc. i wasn't close with him but i KNEW him, he gave me bad vibes, and now 30 years later all his shit and the schools shit is getting aired out. feels good to be vindicated in my suspicions and the unfair treatment of students at that hellschool but my heart goes out to the many victims, named and unnamed, that he violated over the years.

👗like don’t get me wrong i was both best dressed AND too cool for school. and too cool for school is THEE inheritance of hot weird goth girls…but like…people were coming up to me in the hallway outraged that best dressed was sniped from me FOR WEEKS, you don’t understand, i was my high school’s personal lady gaga, the dean of students was my #1 opp and had a personal vendetta against me. i was nearly suspended purely for dress code violations. i was once sent home for wardrobe and came back in a sequined bodysuit and a giant floor length cloak in protest and i kept the hood up for the rest of the day. i wore a lehenga choli and knockoff giuseppe zanotti heelless heels to prom. even after high school i am to my knowledge the only person who has been asked to leave an NYU dining hall due to dress code violations. i was a known fashion icon. it was absolute robbery
allie if you see this sorry for calling you a mid bitch but let’s be real it was too obvious, you were yearbook editor and absolutely no one was checking for your fits, they were cute but very j crew catalog. you should’ve just given yourself best smile and no one would have noticed. you flew too close to the sun with your ambition for sartorial recognition and i can forgive but it will never be forgotten

100 students teachers and college community members were arrested at Emerson college last night. the cops were in riot gear and they beat the shit out of 19 and 20 year olds and locked us in buildings. shame on boston police. shame on emerson college.

I recently had a small birthday wine n dine with my friends and anticipated awkwardness between my different groups of friends, but it was the complete opposite. God I love my friends and love making a space for them to mingle and laugh in eeeee. I think in a time where my friends and I are transitioning to adulthood and focusing on careers, this brings something to look forward to and a way to create a world outside of work and study.
