This was on a double feature bootleg dvd of foreign movies we found at a thrift store. It's a 1976 movie from Thailand. Absolutely unhinged fun and feels like a b-movie but isn't.
Recently re-watched this one at the film archive. Lots of funny moments and zany action sequences, including characters that summon flying swords by playing a musical instrument. A very enjoyable, well-made movie.

The editing in this film is piss-poor. However, the fight scenes are some of the most tightly choreographed in the Hong Kong canon. Theyβre a true feast for the eyes. Plus the villain, The Ghost Faced Killer, is one of the baddest dudes to ever grace the screen. Do check it out.
I write 100 words of fiction a day; it's usually the best part of my day (even if the writing is awful). It gets the dark gremlins out of my head for a bit. With how meaningless corporate jobs are, I need something creative.
The solution is the same as always: decentralized and build it small, local, redundant, and networks. That's what made the internet powerful in the first place, what made it good. Now, we can't even swap out our now phone batteries!β
