the ride home from rockaway is almost as great as rockaway itself.
for best results have a modelo on the top level (the best seats are the ones in the very back on top of the life vests) and time the ride for around sunset.
bringing a bike on them is nice n easy too. the best move is front-loading all the riding, chill on the beach for a few hours, and then take the ferry home (your legs are probably tired)
