whether it’s from the clerb or from your country of residence, going home is a boss move I live in Amsterdam and haven’t been back to Malaysia, my home, in almost 2 years. being back again now, just wow. the world is under a warm-sepia tone, food has unimaginable flavour, and people are swaggier than ever :))

And of course there’s way more… but I grew up with Red House Painters’ Down Colorful Hill and Morrissey’s Viva Hate (yeah I was way more into solo than Smiths for many years) as teenage soundtracks. As an older dude looking back on that now, that’s pretty problematic in and of itself, but yeah… the dudes are whack. I still jam the shit tho. *ups the volume on “Speedway”*
