i’ve been listening to mostly rock but i put on an oldies (or) pop playlist after a bad day and was remembering the songs like i like from that genre and queued more. just a little serotonin before i end the night.

THE EMPTY PLACES BETWEEN CITIES

i’ve heard that in europe everything is close together and the countries are so small, so it doesn’t take long to get anywhere. but in the US you can go hours and hours of driving with nothing but desolate roads and the occasional podunk town. some of the best things are in those empty long miles
