I wouldn’t say I completely enjoyed this per se but it was nice to have the task “make a cardboard tree” instead of “write a critical text essay” on my to do list.
If you’re someone who’s always creating non physical work, taking a break to use your hands for a while and make something you can actually visualise is so satisfying.

Having something you do solely for yourself and being able to create something uniquely yours feels so good! I feel so productive when I use my free time creating instead of doing mindless nonsense

i used to hate production pottery bc it felt boring and stress inducing to me. now strangely, hammering out 10 mugs is a delicious indulgence, pulling handles, listening to music, watching a good movie. reminds me of knitting and how necessary it felt.

I feel like middle aged or older adults have such a good sense of themselves, at least from an outside perspective. Everyone I know from family to co-worker to teacher who is within this age range is so easy to describe. Their characteristics are easy to point out and their personality is very clear. I feel like this isn't as true for young adults and teens and especially not for kids. Maybe it's because we're open to changing ourselves more and definition hinders our ability to grow. I feel like this is obvious but an observation non the less.

The person who created this site is so insanely knowledgeable and creative, if you are at all interested in medieval history this website will be up your alley. So go visit their monastery and sign their guestbook as a pilgrim of St. Blamensir. (the cemetery is also sure to make you cry)

I’m not at home for most of the day but you can bet when 4pm hits she’s there waiting at the front door for me.
I’ve been sick lately and had to lock her out while i diffused essential oils in my room to help with my sinuses. I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN she was wailing and scratching at my door and the look of joy in her eyes when I stepped out my room filled me with unbearable guilt.
I love my cat more than anything on this earth and everyday is a bit better knowing i’m her favourite person ❤️‍🩹
