First rec: turn off all notifications Second: ideally delete social media apps, at least temporarily for a detox.
Third: set an alarm in order to work or take care of certain tasks with absolutely no distraction. Try two hours with your phone in a closet or drawer and the difference in experience is radical.

It’s an app that you can use to block certain apps on your phone that has helped me greatly decrease my social media time without quitting cold turkey (though I’m trying to do that too, recently). I have it set so that I can only open instagram 7 times a day in 5 minute increments. I spend much less time doomscrolling but can still look at things my friends have sent me, etc.

I only have Instagram on my computer so I can only access it when I consciously sit down at my desk. It definitely helps reduce scrolling as you're more aware of what you're doing, but you can still use social media, just limit yourself to like 15-20 mins on a device different from your phone.
