there's a little stray kitty cat that i've been seeing around my house so i put some food out for it and the next day it was gone. today i saw the cat as i got home so i got more food and went outside and the cat was across the street. i shook the food in the bag and it heard it and turned around. i put the food out and went back inside and as soon as i was inside the cat came running over for the food. it was hungry! i tried to come outside for a pet but the cat started to run away so i stayed inside so it could eat in peace. i hope someday i can pet it

Pretty sick, went with a friend and it was very funny. $14 Movie Theater IPAs were hitting in a fantastic way. Then we went to see the second half of the Knicks game in some dive in the Village. It was a great time, stumbled on the escalator in front of strangers.

I have another indie theater that I prefer because it’s cozier, has better vibes, is much closer to me, and everybody who works there is genuinely passionate about film. It’s not really anything special visually but it’s a beautiful institution and it’s so fun to be there ❤️
But this one is an old art deco theatre designed by architect John Eberson (he designed Loew’s Paradise in the Bronx and the Paradise Theatre in Chicago)! It’s pretty run down/poorly managed and staffed but it’s a gorgeous building and definitely worth visiting. Not my photos but included for illustrative purposes!!

i will never get over polyvore shutting down. i used it obsessively and had hundreds of outfits made on it and mine were ARTFUL not like the stuff people say they saw on wattpad with like skinny jeans and converse and shit like mine were gorgeous. and then they shut down and i wasn't able to back up any of my stuff so i lost it all. i'm not sure if you consider more recent classics but as a lit major here are some of my faves that could be considered classics: wuthering heights, pride and prejudice, song of solomon, the crying of lot 49, slaughterhouse five, 1984, hamlet, macbeth, and it's not a novel but the collected short stories of ernest hemingway... many of them are bangers. i'm not a hemingway novel fan but his short stories are often so good
