by Clarice Lispector. cannot recommend this book enough for strange young women.
she verbalizes internal sensations and animal knowledge I didn’t think possible to express. if ur a little feral and cruel and fiercely in love with life then this book is for u.

maybe it’s majorly juvenile of me to identify with the main character so much but I’ve been rereading this book every year since I was 15 so that’s just how it is

It took me a while to hop on the Lispector Express, but I only regret that I didn't read her sooner.
You don't read this as much as you allow it to wash over you. She talks about time and life and the intiutive and unknowable in a way that is so organic that it pulses and breathes in your face. So beautiful.

my favourite read in a while. it's a look on her thoughts about everything from life, time, death and lonelines to perfumes. her writing on this one might not be the easiest to understand due to the erratic aspect of it, but i think everyone should read at least one of her books in their life!!!! GO READ CLARICE

Her style is so beautiful and she communicates so much depth about the human experience in every sentence. Reading Lispector is truly such a mesmerizing way to experience language.
