I don't know why I didn't realize the full potency of this song until I saw them live in Philly a few weeks ago. It's, in my mind, completely one of the best songs I have ever heard. Listen with headphones on and you can hear Mica screaming the lyrics behind the chorus. Really really wonderful stuff.

This whole song is good but the screaming section for the last minute is so killer, screaming "I won't feel anything/I won't feel anything anymore" with the break down in the background makes me want to run through a brick wall. Saw them open up for Home is Where in Boston and the lead vocalist smashed the mic himself in the head with the mic and was bleeding for most of the set, so intense

I think I've bawled my eyes out to every track at this point for different reasons. not even exaggerating. once you think you're done with it you get hit with a brand new emotion and find new symbolism in the lyrics. and another painful feeling to unfurl and free yourself from. if I could get everyone to listen to an album this would be my pick

Only started when I got a regular 9-5 and could adjust my schedule to wake up a little earlier. Not great at it, but I try when I can. Notice what you can't usually when you're a nightowl. Right now, birds are singing, maintenance guys are driving up to houses, the breeze is cool for the season, and a big ass bumblebee just checked me out a little.
Feels like less of a commitment than 30 minutes, feels more substantial than 15. "Write every day!!!!" is advice I've seen in every comedy book, self-help video, whatever, but didn't really internalize until a few months ago. No big ritual attached, no pressure no strings, just put on a timer and write on your phone, laptop, notebook, napkin, whatever you can find. It's a good way to gather your thoughts, slow down for a bit, and look around your own little mind palace for a moment. I like to do it the first chance I get at work. I put it on my Outlook calendar as BUSY: PLANNING DAY (I'm never ever planning my day)(Well, maybe only sometimes!) Plus, you get to look back and recognize the, y'know, patterns?

My mom played this song a lot while I had a little desk in her office/bedroom during middle school. It always takes me back to reading Homestuck fanfiction and scrolling through Tumblr, trying to find my place on the internet for the first time. Similarly when flower crowns and thigh gaps were a thing!
