I was worried tbh, the other attempts at activism in the area are met with very hateful stuff. but it was okay outside of the usual crowd yelling things at us from their trucks. there was never any events like that when I was growing up there and it was isolating to say the least. and the number being pretty evenly split between people in the community and allies was nice to see. love you all, happy pride ❤️
