Track no.5 on Friends by Lawrencetown “Lawrence” Very very nostalgic feeling about this song. the grittyness of the production and sort Of broken melody reminds me of the feeling I got when one of my friends tried to confess their feelings for me and shit got crazy awk. Honestly the tone of the song is so melancholic, the album as a whole is a great listen and very vibey if you’ve got the time to get into it

🎵I’m a stitch away from making it, and a scar away from falling apart🎵 Ok I have a thousand favorite songs but I was just thinking a couple hours ago about how I saw Fall Out Boy a few years ago for my 30th birthday. They had a “magic 8 ball” part of their set where they chose a random song to play in each city. They played this and I started bawling when I heard the first note. It’s my all time favorite Fall Out Boy song. The next few minutes was me ugly crying and trying to catch my breath enough to sing along. I was so full of love and gratitude in that moment. I’m crying now typing this. I felt the same sense of wonder that I did when I heard it the first time at 14. I felt blessed.
