It’s a website rather than an app, if you’re not opposed to that it’s similar to Letterboxd. They actually have a film logging feature as well. They tell you when artists you ’ve logged before have upcoming projects which I think is pretty cool.
I still use Spotify but rate your music is a good website to get recommendations without the algorithm. It does lean more towards metal reccs but if you want things other than that it’s definitely on there.
