@PRINCESS pointed out Sweet Treats are capitalist propaganda and idk If I fully agree BUT I think a yummy latte is 200% more rewarding if you make it! my recipe: Brown sugar, instant espresso, milk, ice, optional vanilla extract and cinnamon. you also need a jar with a lid, so save one next Time you use a glass jar —> boil some water, while it’s boiling put 2 Tbsp of instant espresso and at least as much brown sugar into your jar —> pour enough water to dissolve (less than 1 espresso shot of liquid — your ice will add volume) and stir well —> add ice and shake it around until it’s cold —> fill the rest of the jar (leaving room for more ice) with milk and top with a splash of vanillla and a sprinkle of cinnamon, then put on the lid and SHAKE THAT FUCKER LIKE NOTHING MATTERS —> fill the rest of the way with ice and enjoy :-)

Here’s my recipe! - sweetener of choice - food grade rosewater (not Sadaf brand) - vanilla extract - cinnamon - espresso - milk - salt add a pinch of salt to your espresso or coffee and give it a stir. Then stir together your sweetener, dash-to-a glug of rosewater (depending on how much of a rose flavor lover you are), dash of vanilla extract, and sprinkle of cinnamon into your espresso/coffee. it doesn’t mix as well if you’re working w cold brew, but just put some elbow grease into it. add your milk and give it another stir. top with tons of ice if you’re a fake Latina/hot drink-avoidant like I am. Enjoy the delicate flavor and pat yourself on the back for saving $7+ and crafting your own lovely treat!!!!! 🌹 and don’t forget to refrigerate your rosewater.

My husband is and has been a barista for about a decade so I have been absolutely spoiled with his coffee-making and procuring skills. Since we moved we’re had very different schedules and he leaves for work before 6AM mon-friday. I work many weekends or go to church so there are only a rare few days out of a month that I get to wake up to one of his delicious pour overs. I am too lazy to put this amount of effort and devotion into a single cup of coffee for myself so I usually have instant coffee. My husband showed me how to make this easy little latte on days I want to treat myself. Lazy Man’s Latte Ingredients - 2 ts. instant coffee, tasters choice is by far my favorite - ~1TB jam of your choice. I used Bonne Maman peach preserves for this. You can also use a syrup but I like the little bit of texture jam adds. - Milk to fill your cup (idk bro depends on how much milk you want, make a cortado for all i care) Instructions 1. add roughly 1-2TB hot water to your instant coffee and pour into your serving glass over ice. 2. mix or froth milk and jam in a separate cup. if you want a hot latte skip the ice and gently microwave your milk before blending in your flavoring. 3. enjoy a drink that’s worse than what you’d get at a local coffee shop but better than a dunkin or starbucks for a fraction of the cost.

i live away from home, have been for almost 4 years now; i’m studying in a city far away from home, and like all college students, i need coffee to function 🙏 here are some things i do to keep the beverage interesting :) • whipped coffee; beat instant coffee, sugar and a tiny bit of water till you see peaks forming, and pour in your choice of milk! can be had iced or hot. i love the little foam layer and bubbles that form on top. • café medici(ish); add milk, cocoa powder and orange essence (pls don’t use orange juice because that’ll split the milk) to your instant coffee and you’ll have a rich, complex flavour which will warm you from the inside. • cardamom café latte; prepare instant coffee in the normal way, add milk and sugar, and then add a pinch of cardamom powder! as an indian girlie, i love chai, so having coffee which reminds me of the flavour of chai is great ;) • coffee cookie ice cream; get a tub of vanilla ice cream, and make a concentrated decoction with instant coffee. crush any cookies/biscuits off your choice. pour the decoction into the tub of ice cream and sprinkle in the crumbs as you mix. pop it back in the freezer for a while and then you’re done! enjoy. • cran-coffee; if you’re not a fan of milk, make a weaker decoction of instant coffee, pour it into cold water, add some cranberry juice and sugar, with a twist of lime. top it off with some ice and you’ll have a refreshing earthy mocktail! what are your favourite ways to have coffee?

really good way of getting rid of lots of tasty groceries before they go bad :) Dramatis Personae: Active Dry Yeast, sugar, flour, salt, (optional basil/garlic), olive oil, pizza sauce, shredded cheese of choice (I like mozzarella), warm water, toppings of choice. I like to do chicken, sliced onions/bell peppers, pineapple, ham, spinach, whatever I have on hand Now, the process: —> get a large bowl, combine a half cup of sugar, 1 packet or 2 Tbsp of yeast, pinch of salt, and 1 cup of flour and mix it up good.  Add the basil and/or garlic here if you Have them —> Add 1 Tbsp olive oil and 2/3 cups lukewarm water, mix it up til it’s batter-y —> gradually add 1 more cup of flour, pushing it in with your hands so its a consistent consistency —> if that doesn’t make it doughy, add more flour til it’s doughy and you can make a ball out of it that sort of keeps its shape when you set it down —>  put another Tbsp olive oil in the bowl, covering the sides and the Ball, then cover with a wet towel or Saran wrap, and put it someplace warm to rise for a half hour —> I usually use this time to preheat the oven to 425 and chop fruits and veggies/dice ham, and clean off a space to roll out the crust —> once your dough is risen, punch it down a couple times in the bowl to get the air out. It should become a really satisfying elastic texture —> sprinkle some flour in the flat surface you prepared, and roll out the dough (with a pin if possible, I just use my hands though) until it’s the shape of your pan. Oh yeah line your Baking sheet pan with paper or it’s more likely to burn —> lay your crust down on the sheet and poke holes with a fork (VERY IMPORTANT if you don’t want the crust to be uber thick!), then use a spoon to cover the crust in a layer of olive oil, then a layer of pizza sauce —> be liberal with the pizza sauce, make sure to get the edges. If you leave even a little crust at the edges, it’ll rise to huge size!! if you really really want that, put some copious garlic on there so you’re not left with a blank space babe! —> furnish with cheese and toppings and stick it in the oven for 10-20 minutes, it’ll take longer if you have lots of toppings —> in particular, I’d you’re putting on fresh veggies and fruit it’ll cooo faster and more evenly if you push em towards the edges. The center can take AGES otherwise and might burn the edges  —> Remove from oven and enjoy! DM me a picture if you make this plsssss
