Maturing is realizing that soooo much zoomer slang enforces conformity. "Glazing" has been a particularly infuriating one and many would put down praise like this as doing such. Young adults, men in particular, are petrified of complimenting each other and it has long been time to change that.

Life is so much more fun when you let yourself express how much you love someone or something without reservations. Don’t half ass it. Tell strangers with cool outfits how much you love their style. Tell your friends how much you love their company. Share your favourite books and movies with randos online, and go into excruciating detail about why. Tell your mom about your favorite memories from growing up. Let your fondness fill up so much space within you and around you - the world feels so much more magical when you let yourself get excited about what’s in it.

Just make the leap - it all works out
definitely not! Speaking from personal experience - I went from totally fucking off (working like 10hrs a week) to working as a carpenter for years. Then I got interested in random shit online and made the leap from carpentry to working in marketing/jack of all trades for tech experiments and companies. I was 25 when I made the leap from carpentry to what I do now. I had no clue what the fuck was going to happen. I just felt like it was the right leap to make.

incredible collage style documentary exploring how LA has been portrayed in films and thought about within a cultural lens. The whole movie is made of clips from films. 10/10 recommend
