Im on my way to a wedding and the very right wing Dutch cabinet just fell.
This is the first time one of my friends is marrying. As I have truly entered that age where some of your friends are marrying and having kids, and others are still figuring out how to take care of themselves. It's a very exciting time. Made even more exciting by our right wing cabinet resigning!! It being on my friend's wedding day must mean lots of marital bliss for the couple. I'm taking it as a sign that all of our luck is changing in general. Have been having a shit few months, but how bad can it be when our right wing cabinet just threw in the towel.. My luck is changing! OUR luck is changing! š«āØš§š»āāļø

...right before I moved to Taiwan and had so many doubts about what I was doing with my life, as it is a complete shift for my artistic practice, though needed. During transit at Changi Airport's butterfly garden, a massive brown butterfly landed on my hand and refused to leave. I tried flapping my hand around but it came back again and again and again. Until I literally blew on it to move it to some more tasty pineapple slices... which was another struggle lol i was wheezing trying to get it off me without touching it.
Lots more magical things happened after, but this was for me, my oh-it'll-be-ok sign from the universe. I keep the video to remind me of the weird magical logic of the world.

As y'all might know, I'm a climber. Which is fun, cute, sexy and I recommend everyone to become one. Only downside is that it's def a male dominated sport. There's plenty of girls who climb, but a large majority (in our gym) is male. Meaning that the likelihood of going on an outdoor climbing trip without men.. is small. Unless, of course, you organise a girls-only climbing trip. I would highly recommend doing so. Men r great but it's also nice to only be surrounded by girls who know what's it like to climb when you have a menstrual cycle and don't have a natural knack for dynamic power. Made me feel supported, seen and connected.

Feels like the adult alternative to sleepovers as a kid. Telling eachother your deepest secrets and scariest truths while laying in the dark. Seeing the hours on your clock pass steadily, knowing it'll be a bitch to wake up in the morning but thinking that it's worth it.
