HELPING YOUR FRIENDS OR FAMILY BECAUSE YOU LOVE THEM
sister had to move out of an apartment and while i intensely displeased with physical labor i pushed through and moved her within the day yesterday. it was very hard with 2 people but we made it and i am so proud and happy for her. i told her how exhausted i was but followed up by saying how fun it was. sometimes we fight and get short with each other but being able to communicate needs and what not was very heartwarming even when we’re so stressed out

i feel this so heavy!! my mom and i have a strained relationship but in the moments where we’re good i’ve noticed i can prolong it by helping out. washing dishes when i visit, offering to pet sit when they’re gone. we dont text a lot but she reached out yesterday to ask me to research phone plans for a cousin immigrating to canada and i am DELIGHTED to be asked.

wanted my friend to come over to lay down and listen to music with me but they had a rough day at work so i offered to cook dinner for us and they are picking up a couple ingredients on the way over. i think this is what life is supposed to be about

living close to your favorite aunt
my aunt had a wild bird related emergency today and i could quickly walk over to her house and help her. together we captured the bird and brought it back to where it came from. also whenever either of us is ill, we help each other out with groceries etc. and we hang out together and go to the local theatre together etc. i love her
