…preferably 9am. It’s all in the knowledge that you have a day of choice. Choosing what you want to do in the day is fun in itself, especially because there’s always the option of going back to bed for a bit. I love getting up early on a Sunday and slowly waking with the sun. Paired with a quick walk to a coffee shop and a return home to put on fresh pajamas, sit on the couch and enjoy a book or a show or a craft and just ease into the day. it helps to make the day feel longer and is especially a godsend in the winter when there is only so much time to take in the sun.

Rise and shine rise and grind or whatever they say. I feel like getting up early is the key to having a decent day. My grandmother use to wake up at like 5 in the morning, no plans, and just get going. Shit happens and sleeping in slows the movement. Even if you’re just gonna chill around the crib, get something going. Plus that afternoon nap gonna hit crazy later on.

I will always, ALWAYS recommend a charity shop above all other methods of shopping. I was in one today for about an hour, only a small one too. Still, every time I went to pay for my things I found something even more interesting, like this pencil case. I think it’s pretty cool. I really like Miffy.

This morning, just before he left my house, my boyfriend put my sweets into this little dish. He also made the bed. I’m so grateful for little acts of love like these - I love him so much.
