lily and i got horribly lost and in a series of unfortunate events, missed our train to our roommates grad party where there’s supposed to be rlly delicious food. after 25 minutes of sitting in silence waiting for the next one she goes “this is hbo girls” and i immediately felt better about our misfortunes. highly recommend trying this for yourself and telling me if it works

My girls nights literally REVIVE me. Now I completely understand why my mom needed those nights to just kick it with her homegirls- it really does reinvigorate you and just feels like a big warm hug. Our favorite thing to do is say we’re having a movie night, turn on the movie, spark up, then talk thru the whole movie LOL. Idk I love my girls and the warmth they bring to my life. I always leave feeling like I got good perspective on something that might’ve been bugging me or I was able to help a friend navigate something that’s been troubling them. Sometimes you are out late and don’t want to stop hanging with your bestie and you literally know you are gonna text them “bagel?” In 5 hours when you wake up… just cut out the middle man. its normal and incredibly wholesome

a good amount of my day to day lexicon is just me quoting my dad. every time someone says they love me? "what's not to love." instead of saying something is good, you just say "strong." i even refer to myself in the third person the way he does when asking for things, such as saying "big glass of water for belly?" (his nickname for me), even when i am just getting my own water. i did also inherit his poor communication skills and lack of vulnerability, but sometimes i feel like thats okay since i love him so much despite these things

fun fact every item in an antique store has a soul! i especially love smaller towns w massive antique malls. this is bad for my hoarder side but at least better for the environment & my soul. my tip is always go in w a list of ur hopeful finds

gather all the cash u have and go to chinatown and literally eat until u cant anymore. this rice roll was like $2 and it was the most perfectly textured bite ever (sun hing lung bc i dont gatekeep) bring a friend or an audiobook and try sooooooo much food
