I’ve gotten really into making playlist for each season and it creates so much nostalgia for me going back and listening to what summer of 23 feels like or winter of 21. Highly recommend

I make playlists every month or every season, depending on my mood. It’s nice to go back and listen to stuff I was into my freshmen year of college, or during the pandemic. I add songs to the playlist that my friends send me or I hear in movies or tv shows, along with songs I just love and want to be hearing. Like a little time capsule

for different moods, new friends who you sense have complementary taste in music to your own, for different seasons, for recent discovery, to grieve, to celebrate, to create! years later I can scroll my playlists and see where I was at, and they’re also personal time capsules in that way.
