i discovered this song like i discover most of my favorite songs: by playing telephone with spotify's 'fans also like' feature. i can spend hours sifting through recommended artists' discographies to find my new perfect hyper fixation song. this song in particular feels like that one picture of kate moss hanging out of an open window with a cigarette in her mouth surrounded by two hot rockstars. i also love edgar breau (the lead vocalist) and his slightly irish but also semi-southern drawl.

Bruh. Had the good fortune to see Cloakroom play in Denver a couple of years ago at the Hi-Dive (the bestest, iykyk๐) At one point in the set, their frontman played a guitar solo that I can only characterize as the sexiest thing Iโve ever heard. Needless to say I was haunted by it and spent the next day combing through their entire catalogue to hear that solo again. I couldnโt find it, but the journey solidified me as a huge Cloakroom fan. recent discovery - iโm a sucker for all things slide guitar especially when itโs not typical country. this is all over the place, very moody & dreamy, almost sounds like a synth at times
