I was walking on Haight and Ashbury in San Francisco in 2020, dooming about what that place was probably like in the 60s and how cooked it is 60 years later, when I saw these amazing paintings and sculptures in the window of the RVCA store. I was surprised because I had never imagined liking something in the RVCA store, but walked in and discovered this very talented artist. Her paintings, then and still, use color and texture in the best way and are so beautiful to me. I looked her up on instagram and DMd her asking if she ever sold her work. She said they were $500 and up. I couldnβt scrap that together at the time, but fuck, I really wish I had, because now sheβs art world famous and Iβll likely never be able to afford something of hers again. Trust your gut
