4 YEAR ASSOCIATES
Dropped out of bachelors sem 1 because of a shitty roommate and no friends and then fucked around and failed a ton of classes in community college and finally finished up while my friends are graduating with bachelors!! Now I’m trying to go back to a school and get some college life experience before I turn into an old man ! Work in progress… on the way I found some work I actually enjoy doing and actually have a bit of a plan and a lot more of a personality than I did at 18!
I regret nothing but the F’s on my transcript.. I don’t even regret the amount of time it took me. I eventually got fed up with my shit work ethic and being on academic probation.. last two semesters I had like a 3.7 gpa that I am very proud of. I stagnated really hard at the end of high school and genuinely had zero passion for anything.. finding stuff I actually like took time. I have things to do that aren’t stupid video games and YouTube videos and common ground I can use to make friends.. not content with my current life situation yet but I am more and more content with myself as a personality every day

I failed calculus the first time I took it, dropped it with a WD the second time, then finally got a B the third time! I found out my school made it so that the grade you get when retaking a class is the only one that counts toward your GPA. Even if you can’t work out something like that, it’s still worth it to be able to show your progress over time and how you don’t give up!

Some good some bad
Im aslo in my senior year and its definitely been a wild ride. Though most if that ride was me being an overachiever and burning out midway and having to learn its okay to take it slow I don't have to achieve everything so early on. I lucked out and was able to get an off campus apartment and not have to stay in the dorms my entire time at school, so that saved me a lot of money and really allowed me to, I think enjoy college more because i was able to do my own thing and have my own space. I've made a lot of new friends in the last few years and some friendships I think are going to live past the convenience of being in college and same department. I think over all it was a rough start but by the end of it here overall it was worth it and I've had a great time!

GRADUATING.
High school was so awesome. I did tons of extracurriculars, I did morning announcements, I got crownes Prom King, all that good stuff. Then I graduated and now I am the most bored I have ever been in my whole life. I’m glad I have myself figured out now because I sure as hell did not four years ago, but I still kinda feel the same dread that I used to feel all the time back in the day. Maybe I just need a car and a job 🗿

My god everything is experienced better this way. Stop looking at guides, walkthroughs, endings explained (my least favorite), even the blurbs on the back. Such a rare opportunity in this time to go into something without knowing anything about it, yet so rewarding. To be pleasantly surprised or blown away, to have no idea what’s happening, to find that you really didn’t like it, an opinion formed on your own.. nothing is more valuable
