CIVIL NOT FRIENDLY
A few from school were really not great people who I could care less about, but the most recent one really gave me no reason to dislike her. I couldnā€™t handle a regular friendship because I think you end up constantly reopening old wounds but we text from time to time and donā€™t have any animosity or anything. There was no big controversy with the breakup but we were both not being the best to each other as partners and starting to grow apart. The other two were kinda similar on/off again manipulating back and forth type deals. Classic early high school drama that Iā€™m glad I sorted out then vs in my 20s.

Ugh high school messy yea. Makes sense with the latest! I draw heavy boundaries + protect a current love interest, so whatever/whoever happened in the past is a heavy last place.

Meaningless Connections
School sucks obviously, but I miss when simply knowing someone in science class made them a friend. Didnt need deep complex understand in relationships, just needed people to tell me my ideas for new sandwiches were good. Looking back I considered almost everyone I went to school with a friend even if the sentiment wasnā€™t shared. Adulthood made casual relationships almosy impossible, near strangers canā€™t be my friend anymore :(

randomly contacting old friends
I always found it hard to keep in contact with people since I'm not the best texter. Plus, I usualy felt like a floater friend, like I just wasn't in the loop cause people liked others more. Of course, growing apart is nothing bad and if they were truly like that, than it's better that I'm no longer friends with them. However, I got in contact with someone I hadn't spoken with for a long time and it was great. Life gets busy and a lot of people are full in their head from everything. It's not always cause they never think of you (anymore) or don't value your friendship.

sometimes!
my high school/early college gf is one of my best friends and will be forever. we had a wonderful friendship before we dated and after taking some time of no contact built back an even stronger platonic bond. especially since we were close during such formative years itā€™s been so rewarding to grow together - out of one form of connection and into so many othersā£ļø my other serious ex I may never speak to again before I die.

My god everything is experienced better this way. Stop looking at guides, walkthroughs, endings explained (my least favorite), even the blurbs on the back. Such a rare opportunity in this time to go into something without knowing anything about it, yet so rewarding.
