Nervous system reset! Went for a long walk with a friend who lives nearby but doesn't visit often. Beautiful surprises all over the place (flowers, chipmunks, baby turtles.) We had an awesome time

I love taking a good nature walk. Back in high school I had to wait upwards of 3 hours for my dad to come and pick me up (come late junior and senior year they told me to just take the bus home), I made it a bit of a habit of walking along the backyard of my school, it was this huge grassy space with trees and a river further back. Thinking of it now, it wasnโt very big, but man the self reflection I did there was crazy.
Now I frequent downtown a lot because of school, so I just walk around getting lost, occasionally going to the parks nearby and just sitting and thinking.

Going on a walk in a park u never been before is sooo nice. All the trees and different styles of benches and landscape architecture is so exciting๐๐๐๐๐

At lunchtime I bought a huge orangeโ
The size of it made us all laugh.
I peeled it and shared it with Robert and Daveโ
They got quarters and I got a half.
And that orange, it made me so happy,
As ordinary things often do
Just lately. The shopping. A walk in the park.
This is peace and contentment. It's new.
The rest of the day was quite easy.
I did all the jobs on my list
And enjoyed them and had some time over.
I love you. I'm glad I exist.
that's all to say, I think it's the little moments. And the people, mostly. If you're open to crying, We Live In Time speaks to a similar sentiment. All we have is time! For me, when I focus on/appreciate moments and people, it puts things into perspective and takes pressure off. Also, capitalism is a trap. The powers that be are so afraid of us appreciating orange

Sure, it takes longer to get to the beach and there will be traffic during busy times, but it is the best! Drive through the hills, past the marine mammal center, the art school, the old jeeps for sale, and that one container truck owned by a koi pond company. Laguna Canyon is magical and should never be changed
