Im Visiting my families new home for the first time since they moved halfway across the country around new years. Its really beautiful. My dog seems happy, there's so much space, and it seems like a nice place to settle a bit.
The kicker is this little lighthouse situation in the backyard-- laundry room in the bottom and this crazy loft on top, and my brothers have turned it into this crazy TV pit 4 their gaming+pirating+stonermovies. Hes playing Pokemon rn nd somehow its getting heated.
They also have a hottub.
We used to pray 4 days like these.

What once was your run of the mill student house, is now slowly becoming a grown up house.
Something that I really cherish about my current living situation is getting to grow up with my housemates. We've now all lived together for nearly 3 years and lots of things have changed. While our house might still look like a regular student house to the untrained eye, we've been slowly upgrading several parts of our house. Such as now having a working freezer, a decent tv, no couches with giant holes in them and last but not least.. plants in our bathroom. We are catching up on decades of students living here and neglecting the space, but verrrryyy slowly it's turning into a home. Technically it's not even a student house anymore, as 2 of us have graduated and started working 'proper' office jobs. This is just a small appreciation for my housemates for being pleasant to live with and the universe for giving me a place to live where we might not mob the floor every week, but I would actually feel safe eating a dropped grape from the floor most days.

me and friends found baby Wandering around our college campus (studious girl….🤭) with no mother duckling or body of water or nest anywhere in sight , still have no idea how or where ducki spawning point was located.
We put him in a blanketed box under a security camera and asked campus security to keep an eye on him #surveillenceNation but not even an hour later I found one security guard chasing ducky around her car (he had escaped the box of course.((probably all that studying..)) He decided after awhile that he could fw me and my two gay friends specifically so we are having a sleepover with her before taking bb to the wildlife reserve tomorrow (parting will be no simple task..) ((I see an imprint in my future😩))
We have been calling her Baby or The Duck (she probably has her own name that we don’t know….)
I recommend building a relationship with a duckling.
