we recently moved and I love that I don’t have to tell my child not to cross the invisible border into our crazy neighbor’s property. I can also play music really loudly in my yard now and be weird without anyone noticing 😊 other perks: no longer babysitting all the kids in the neighborhood because we have the swing set, not being judged by the elderly neighbors for ordering doordash dunks when we’re 2 minutes away from it by car, not being watched when mowing the lawn
i made strawberry shortcakes and three kinds of iced teas (ginger peach green tea, lemon black tea, and ginger hibiscus rooibos), and my roommate made bruschetta! then we played Rummy and 9-card Golf for like four hours. i’m so sleepy and content :)
