my parents planted catnip in their garden last year and now our cats beg to go outside and rub their faces on it. i love seeing them happy🙁

🌻Today I soaked up sunshine while gardening, and my sweet angel baby cat Peanut hung out with me (aka she played with and chewed on the catnip plant and then went and took a nap in the rosemary)

they just want to climb trees and catch the birds in the trees and lay in sunny spots 🥹 open windows are a must in good weather <3
sometimes ill just pile up pillows randomly so they can sit on them or jump onto them with toys. another gr8 rec is putting an unfitted sheet over a peice of furniture to make a little fort for them. omg so fun.
OH and do NOT forget …. brown paper bags or package paper 👁️👄👁️

🌞i have OCD and anxiety and have been loving living alone for 2 years! but i also have a tendency to ruminate a lot. music is one of the biggest helpers—i have a speaker and will have music playing when i’m doing tasks like cleaning and dishes. having a good book you can get immersed in is great too because you (or at least i do this lol) forget ur in real life. and if you’re living in a walkable neighborhood go try out local coffee shops and stores! great places to meet people
