🔋this is extremely guy coded but for some reason it’s cracked the whole gym thing wide open for me (granted i only do this at my apartment gym but still.) i roll right out of bed in the morning and head downstairs and i fucking love it. maybe it’s the secret to actually being consistent w the gym

Xiu xiu es pura fragilidad, impotencia y dolor queer. Me es especial sentirme tan parte de su música. tan íntimamente entendedor de un lenguaje que le resulta tan objetivamente abstracto a tantos pero que es tan arrolladoramente reconocible y cercano para mi. es la especificidad contenida dentro de aquello que ya era especifico, propio, atipico, alienante. Me siento muy protector de esa experiencia. supongo que porque en verdad al final del dia me siento orgulloso de reconocer como propio a un dolor tan interesante, complejo y particular. asi se siente xiuxiuuuuuuu pa mi, "propio", como algo que es mio.
