cause i picked it. i love it but i honestly never had a big zap moment where i immediately just knew it was right, more like it checked all my boxes and felt like something i could grow into. like there is a very cool complete person attached to that name and im working to live up to her. im also still very much getting used to it.
enough of firstnamelastname usernames! think of something better, more innovative, more enticing…mine is lowercaserockstar which is from a line in kim gordon’s memoir. not to be pretentious or anything 😋
And I felt lucky that it wasn’t taken when I joined the app. It’s also a signature part of my personality. Embracing my childhood name-call curse for the better. Weird is good!
