hauntingly creepy short story about a โhystericalโ woman under the 17th century rest cure who gradually goes insane, becoming obsessed with the yellow wallpaper in the room sheโs trapped in. it pretty much ended the rest cure and is also an amazing example of early horror and feminist writings! i view it as a satirical dark comedy but i am also sick and twisted so maybe itโs just dark
