my real name is charlotte. iāve never really been opposed to it or anything, itās just that hardly anyone EVER calls me charlotte. before i was born, my mom decided that she wanted to name me charlotte. my dad agreed with the condition that i would be called charlie for short. so itās been my name since i was a baby. i always introduce myself as charlie, my family calls me charlie, my friends call me charlie, etc. most people donāt know itās my real name until many months after we become friends. itās a pretty name i think, i just literally forget that itās my name and i usually donāt respond when someone calls out ācharlotteā.
