being sentimental

i am sooo sentimental and have a little box for mementos. one of the things in it is a card from my best friend when i was in the 1st or 2nd grade before i moved across the country! in it is a little message about being friends and drawings of us as mermaids 😭 & i literally have never spoken to him since i moved but i sincerely hope he turned out ok and is well

A sentimental keyring

felt bad that i left my keys out of my “in my bag”, because this jellycat keyring I’ve had since I was around 5 is so precious to me. He protects my keys and brings me joy. He’s getting pretty knackered but he helps me remember that I get more joy out of using something daily than preserving it in a box. To be loved is to be changed!

A recently bleached bathroom

I grew up in a house where a bathroom is never truly clean unless you use bleach. And I love when all the work is done. The tub and faucet are rinsed and sparkling. And the smell of bleach has dissipated and all that is left is the clean fresh smell of nothingness. Love it!

Real life animal crossing flower

I have a plot in a community garden in nyc. Because I'm cute af. And some Lilies of the Valley just bloomed in my plot. Which is the coveted animal crossing 5 star town flower. So. Like. Im basically living out my acnh fantasy life. Def recommend.

Mavis Beacon teaches typing

Found this CD while looking for odds and ends at home. Mavis honestly provided me with the best skill I could ever have as an adult. Typing! Like with all my fingers. Great stuff.
