VISIBLE MENDING

update on some projects as I’ve been teaching myself to mend my socks and sweaters for some cool zombie flair. I once said that it doesn’t matter how messy it is because it’ll just look more fungal and it turns out, you do want to be a little precise with weaving under and over the warp threads so you don’t make odd straight lines.
thinking I’ll jazz up a boring mass-produced sweater my partner doesn’t wear anymore with some embroidery next!

i just started cross stitching

its like irl pixel art!!! yeah it makes me feel like a stuffy grandma but it’s so fun! you dont have to make traditional teddy bears and flowers— you can do anything !!
im currently planning out a monet inspired piece
