WAKING UP TO THE WHOLE WORLD CALLING FOR YOU

Cats chirping and trilling at me to open the windows for them.
Squirrels screaming at me to replenish the earcorn they’ve chewed down to a nub.
Mr. Big Crow cawing (loudly and repeatedly) for his black oil sunflower seeds.
The windows are open, everyone is fed, and I can now have my peace and listen to the songbirds sing.
