Yea so… i messed up, basically im graduating tommorow and i thought you had to graduate high school before getting into college (turns out you don't) and so i'm left here stranded because no one told me you had to start the whole process all the way back in january!! 😭😭 so yea i mean im happy im atleast graduating but im guessing i wont be going to college soon (for like 6 months) unlike my friends… so yea i feel extremely lost.

LOL accidental gap year! Look so many schools allow rolling admissions that you can still probably get in for. This is also a great excuse to take advantage of what imo is the only correct way to do secondary education - community college ! It does kinda suck living at home but I am going to a 4 year in the fall and I have an associates now that I owe absolutely 0 dollars for because of how cheap the schooling is. Even as a freshman you can apply to community college in like august and they don’t rly give a shit lol. You should seriously consider it especially if you can stomach living at home a little while longer. You don’t even rly need to get the associate’s you can just do one year and transfer the classes if you want

@GRAPE sorry I wrote an essay but I truly believe that community college is the way for your first few years of college. I fucked up at the 4 year I went to and had to drop out and that’s where I ended up but I seriously wish I just went there from the get go. it is my best advice I can give a prospective college student

I graduated a yr ago and was "chasing a high" traveling, moving, etc. but now I'm crashing :) Take your time to adjust and don't beat yourself up if you feel confused, lost, miss the college life!! I def miss it but I'm learning more about myself, sending u lots of luv 💓

being a college student

im graduating this may (feels weird to be saying this after 4 years), and im doing all of the random things that I can do only as a student. like, getting a bagel from our main student hub by myself and people watching! or, inviting a friend to meet up at the library and drink chai lattes while chatting about our day. i know im gonna miss doing these tiny things once i get thrown into “the real world” and doing these little things help keep me sane.

how to not let this month pass me by

I’m graduating from college soon! But I’ve mostly been stressed and busy yet simultaneously tired and unproductive. Yknow, routine. But this is my last month, and I’ve barely seen people and don’t want it to pass me by. Any ideas?
