one of my FAV childhood movies. recently re watched it with my friend and really loved the aesthetic and vibe of the movie. peak 2000s, the outfits and set are great, 10/10
probably the most whimsical movie to exist and a staple of my childhood. it’s been a while since i last watched it so i don’t really remember how the story holds up, but i trust younger me’s judgment.
it still has one of my favourite set and costume designs of any film ever. the things i would do to get my hands on those dresses!!

A nostalgic, synthy modern fairy tale shot on 16 mm. It’s about three kids on a journey to get their mom a blueberry pie. Visually pleasing and so so comforting to watch.

Just one of my favorite movies ever. Might have some controversial stuff in it… but it just has too many good memories linked to it, it was one of my mom’s fave movies as well and watching it always takes me back and makes me feel closer to her :)
came across this shoegaze rock band and its so peak. best for writing or drawing too as its not too blank or not too busy
