even the smallest things may not seem to matter in the moment, but when you fast forward a bit, you may be trying to grasp the memory without any luck. writing things down, taking pictures, collecting, etc. is all so important.
While you can, at this age. Trust me ā youāll have NO regrets. Other than that you didnāt keep a journal and take more photos. I have an exceptional memory, but still itās not enough So save the emails and text threads you send. And keep every letter you receive, especially.
Video someone you love whilst they talk. Record the sound of the birds singing at your grandparentsā house, the sound of traffic in the distance. Write about literally anything, or even just make notes of what you think. Make shitty art, whether itās poetry or painting or music. One day, youāll be glad that you have more than just photos to remember your life by; thereāll be evidence you lived.
Iām so glad I found this app. I was looking for a place where I can share more about myself without feeling judged by the people around me. now people can feel a connection towards me being truly myself instead of the mask Iāve been conditioned to put on for others. I imagine handing someone Iāve just met a paper with a link to this profile on it as a fun experiment
thereās some unity in being able to find other short people, or being a part of a āshort squad,ā but then thereās also my younger cousin who is outgrowing me. the pains of not growing are real sometimes. it is easier to make yourself taller than trying to make yourself shorter though, so I am thankful for that
did I change my username because of this post? ā¦yes. Iāve had my current username, RAVEN87 elsewhere and I didnāt have it at first in fear of someone I know finding me, but I just donāt care anymore lol I love ravens because of their cleverness and their whole vibe. I like the number 87 because I saw online at some point that it resembles a plague doctor, which I had a fascination for when I was younger. and my username rhymes, which is a nice bonus
the one before was VAMP32. I love vampires and 32 is one of my other favorite numbers.
