last night i was in pure bliss in tennessee at a screamo show where my band ruminations played. today i am in the er in a state of fear and anxiety watching a jamie foxx movie on the tv. do not smoke a bunch and inject estrogen for years and not get your blood clots checked out cuz u will end up in the emergency room and will no longer be having fun. turns out you can’t have fun forever. so heres my daily reminder to whoever finds this on the brand new algorithm of this app to go to the doctor more and take care of ur health cuz ppl love u and want u to be alive 😄

Three years ago today I had to have an ablation to prevent my heart from going into A-fib ever again. Maybe you don’t know what all that means, or don’t care to look it up — that’s ok! But just keep this in mind: if you EVER feel your heart do something odd, like jump or flutter, just have it checked out.
As it turns out, I had issues for 20 years but thought It was anxiety. (it’s a longer story, but ya) I wish I would’ve known otherwise. So I’m sharing with you, just in case.

I was fit AF, and found out a few months ago I was a ticking time bomb and had to have open heart surgery. In recovery now and passing on the kindness I received from others I met through this process. !!AMA!!

Why are so many women getting so sick? Everyone gets sick, I know, but a shocking number of women I’ve heard of or know are getting terrifying diagnoses in their 30s. We are just babies! It stresses me out & makes me want to call every woman I know and tell them to prioritize scheduling their annuals.
