Yes! My favorite to grow is forever basil, but I also have a rosemary bush that has gotten huge in the last few years and I always grow thyme and oregano too! I would love to grow cilantro and parsley but I haven’t tried yet.

@SAYLOR loveeeeed growing basil last year (but i did find a tree frog hiding in it one night which scared me 😭). besides that I grew rosemary, thyme, parsley, oregano, and peppermint. definitely give parsley and cilantro a try, theyve been pretty easy to take care of in my experience. Im hoping to transplant a rosemary plant into the ground this year and see if it survives the winter here. im really hoping it lives because i think the bushes are really neat !!

@SAYLOR the tree frog😭 I don’t know if you’ve already done it, but I’ve learned the hard way that people are not joking when they say if you put mint in the ground it’s impossible to get rid of and it SPREADS, so fair warning if yours is still in a pot lol. The parsley and cilantro I feel like the biggest concerns for me would be the wind, I live on an island where it could be completely calm in the morning and then crazy wind by evening super unpredictably, so if you have any recommendations for growing those without them getting murdered I would love that lol.

thankfully I havent put mint in the ground and had to deal with it spreading but thank you ! and with the wind and stuff, I usually bring the less strong ones inside our garage or at least somewhere that the wind cant get to them on all four sides. my goal is to eventually save up and buy a small greenhouse to put up for growing and keeping them out of crazy weather. I do think sometimes I underestimate how hearty plants are and I worry over ones that will make it fine 😭

got my parsley, rosemary, basil, marjoram, oregano, and two lantana flowers :))

Most of em are easy to care for and fresh herbs really take your meals to a new level vs dried. You can literally buy little plants at a ton of grocery stories. you’ll probably wanna repot them in a bigger one when you take them home so they grow more. basil and some types of oregano and sage look really pretty too.

Transplanted my perennial seedlings today ! I’m growing Penstemon grandiflorus, Penstemon strictus, Ratibida columnifera, Thermopsis caroliniana, Monarda citriodora, and Helenium hoopesii ! (there will inevitably be more bc I have no control 🤗)

I was bullied a lot for my eye color as a kid (because me having very dark brown hair and very dark brown eyes made me look "evil", apparently) and, naturally, began to dislike them. but as I've gotten out of school and away from people who put me down, I've realized how insane it is to bully someone over their eye and hair color and grown to love the color of my eyes. I mean, they may be dark but there's nothing wrong with that. and I can take pretty pictures of my eyes too, I just have to blind myself and almost stare into the sun to do so lol

recently, when I wake up in the morning and have time to kill, I've been spending a bit of time reading before or after I get myself ready to go about the day instead of sitting on my phone when I first wake up. I feel like it helps clear my mind for the day and it feels nice to not immediately scroll when I wake up like I used to
