these are such pretty little shiny-metallic birds with picture perfect tiny beaks! if you’ve ever seen them swoop and glide and fly around, especially up close, it’s like a magic trick 🫶 love them sm
i loooove learning new bird calls and bird songs and seeing what little guys might be around if i’m in a different part of the country/world!
(eBird is essential too.. love my birds)
i've met a lot of people just by being out on the trails and not being afraid to ask what birds they’ve seen or if i can tag along with them!
nice bonus being a low-stakes out-in-nature environment with very low associated cost :)
