currently reintroduced to the brilliance of being in a movie theatre and half way through the screen goes black abruptly the lights flash on and a big ol “INTERMISSION” in ariel font is walloped onto the screen
Movies are only getting longer and if i am at the cinema hall i require a built in bathroom break and popcorn re-up
Bring them back.
Just saw Seven Samurai (1954) for the first time and having an intermission only heightened the experience. Take a little bathroom break, buy another beer, settle back in the theater for even more samurai
Please… I feel like we as a society need this more than anything because what do you MEAN I’m supposed to sit through a three-hour movie (while drinking beverages??) without needing to pee
